There is often a charge for cancelling but you are fully within your rights to cancel and recieve a refund of premium as long as you've not made a claim.

I'd change just out of principle.........in fact I did when I sold my Octavia vRS.

You will get a refund but it will equate to far less than you think...........you won't get back say, eight 12ths of the premium.

Good luck and remember they should be privileged to have you as a customer, not the other way round.

Been in a similar situation, only I had to change as my insurer wouldn't cover the vRS unless the drive had full NCB. I had to cancel my policy with only about a month to go, no problems doing that even that late into the policy, and take out a new years policy with someone else. Tbh, what your saving its worth doing.
