tyre pressure?

Featured Replies

Does anyone know the correct pressures for a 1.4 Fabia 16v comfort please?

much appreciated

You need to look at what's said on your petrol cover flap and then use the conversion table.

I keep my bit of paper in the car (table courtesy Briskoda) for safe keeping. Just ran to car and can't find it :o

Hi Johnwg - I'm not sure a 1.4 16v is a TDI (being re the info shown in the Sticky). Could be wrong. Dunno.

Anyway, as I understand it, the conversion is: kpa x .145 = psi; bar x 14.5 = psi. As near as makes no matter. On my filler cap it gives ratings in kpa for BHP and tyre sizes. (Tyre size is shown on tyre happily :) Two kpas re whether carrying full load or not.

bit lost by all this????

On petrol cap it quotes 220/222 and around there..how does that relate to the air pump?

apologies if I'm being thick!

Hi sam1973. 220 on the petrol cap x.145 = 31.9 psi and 222 is not that much more, equating to about 32.2 psi. What does the gauge on the air pump show (i.e. what gradations)?
