The current Mrs Pie Eater has discovered that her x reg Fabia 1.4 comforts speedo is only half lit up, the offideside is dark???. Can anybody out there............wait for it

throw some light on the problem !!!

But seriously, is it something an enthusiastic amateur should be attempting?

It depends on how you feel about soldering LEDs, otherwise it is a new dash panel,

So the Dash is lit with Green LEDs then!

humm I used to like the Orange/red of the Audi

so whipin out the soldering iron you could change the dash colour.

what about all the other switches are then lit with LEDs?

i like the plasma blue backing on skoda tuning. i just wish they had it in mph and not just kph

There is a technical guide on 'ere somewhere that takes you through changing them;)

This happened on a friend's Ford Focus, he got some lights from the pound shop and plugged them into the cigarette lighter so he could see what speed he was doing.

A bit "Heath-Robinson", but a money-saving solution.
