AUX on Sat Nav Unit

Featured Replies

Can anyone tell me what the AUX in connector looks like on the back of the factory fit sat nav in my Superb Elegance?

I am tempted with one of those iPod connectors, does it plug in there (the standard Skoda one)...

Or can I get one that plugs into the Aux In connector on the back, thus not losing my 6cd changer?

Thanks in advance for all responses.

Looking at various other threads, don't think it has one, does it?

Many Ipod connectors, including the OEM one, would use the MINI ISO which you will have but is occupied by your CD Changer.

Have a look here VWNavi - Powered by vBulletin

I have looked into this as I have just fitted a PS2 Slimline into the back of my AUX function on the DX unit.

The AUX plug in is a small connection that looks similar to your CD Changer connection.

If you wish to wire in your Ipod then I am afraid all the current kits available on the market only allow you to connect this to the CD Changer function meaning that you loose the changer.......I believe that someone out there must make something that can plug the Ipod into the AUX function but for now I will stick to watching DVD's on my DX unit with the aid of the PS2.

How easy was it to connect? And do you have a Slimline PS2 in the Glove Box?

It's simple mate, all you do is wire up the PS2 mains wiring to an earth and power point, then connect the multimedia box to the DX unit and your sorted, my PS2 is housed in the glovebox as shown, nothing special as I remove it sometimes depending on where the car is overnight:
