Haldex 2 - Power distribution

Featured Replies

Hi folks

Just bought the Octavia 2,0 TDI estate 4x4 L&K.

I enjoy the car and have just rounded 1200 miles.

Superb performance and handling, compared to my old

SAAB 9-5.

Have a question concerning the Haldex 2 system:

A lot of norwegian web sites state that the nominal power distribution

is 90/10 front/rear, but it seems like other countries (UK/Germany)

has another nominal distribution e.g. 0/100 %.

Anyone who can clarify this issue ? Thanks.

Hi, as far as I am aware it allows up to 98% of the power to be transferred between the front and rear wheels.
