Knocking noise from rear quarter....

Not quite racked up 1,000 miles on the VRS estate (petrol) as yet and everything going along nicely, apart from the tyre disaster mentioned elsewhere.

One niggly thing though that I only notice when the music is turned down.

There is a definite "knocking" noise coming from the area by the rear door on the passengers side. Aware that the exhaust runs underneath this side of the car, so perhaps just an exhaust bracket that is loose?

Sod's law, only ever seem to remember about it when I'm turning into my street and turn the music down, a couple of bumps on the road and the knocking is clear to hear.

Any suggestions before I phone Mr Skoda?
