The engine management light came on in the Octy today :eek::eek: The car is running normally, and I can't see anything wrong.

Any suggestions? Anyone in Central Scotland with VAGCOM?

probably something simple like a coolant temp sensor, but worth getting it checked out mate, I usually just nip in and brian gives it a check on Vagcom for me.

Check your maf to see if it wants cleaning. My check light came on last week. Both my air filter and maf were dirty.

Do a search here. There is loads of info on cleaning the maf.

This has just happened to me, the cars been into the garage and they are having to change some of the hoses, (not sure witch). It's still not sorted as they ordered the wrong parts, but will let you know more as i do.

It sounds the same because the car still drives fine, and has done about 1K miles since the light came on, the advice i was given was not to rag it.
