Very tidy install in the boot :) I was going to do something similar but wanted to keep access to the spare easy.

i can still get the spare wheel out, literally lift the cover on the sub with the seats back, then lift out the sub box, vollia, the spare.

Very tidy

i like the door instals how much did that cost

How do you find the 12w6 V2, ive got it in my car, not too keen

Complete install was 1k, including some wires, ie interconnects, speaker wires.

The w6 is more linear compared to the w3's i had previously and i do like it, it does need some juice to run though.

The boot needs some sound proofing as i can hear farting through a boot vent, and vibrations are resonating with the sub, taking away the clean sound.

Give me a month and i will most likely have the car soundproofed and up at MF2k if another meet is arranged

Yeh, ron wont touch your car with sound deadening (doors anyway) due to the stupid metal door panel inside being a biatch!!

How did he get on with the front speakers?

speakers are mounted to the inner skin, he hasnt really played with them and doesnt know them so has left me to it, but they are in well and look good.

Ai ron hates dynamatting, and refuses to take inner skin off, been checking out how to do it, and looks pretty simple, and once off, its s easy to do the whole of the outer skin, and will probably strip the inner and do a good job there too

Yeh, it looks easy, its the whole having the window mech on the inner door skin that messes things up, ive done it on a mk4 golf (same design) and never again!

nice install, liking the boot, very tidy.

Um, sorry - just to be clear - the boot subwoofer is just screwed down over the spare wheel? And it works well like that?

(If so I may just get rid of the box I made and copy that...)

Nice one mate

Bas

I/we sound proofed Tom's old Fabia and removing the door carriers is a piece of cake.

you drill out the rivets and then re-rivet them? or do you use bolts????

Thanks matey!

If they have rivets then they will need to be re riveted, but not all have rivets.

mine have rivets - so they have to be re-riveted......

If they had bolts - I gues sthey'd have to be re-bolted.

And if they're held together with spit and chewing gum, so on and so forth....

Thanks mate

Bas

You've got it Bas ;)

there is a sub box, the box volume was adjusted as the volume changes due to the inversion.
