Selling the Fab. What price to ask ?

Featured Replies

OK. With a family now I'm thinking of upgrading to an Octavia Elegance Estate and taking advantage of this upgrade offer from Ambiante to Elegance.

Question :

a) What kind of price should I be asking the dealer for mine. Fabia Estate on 05 plate. 1.4 16v. Poli 16" wheels. Sahara Beige. 12500 miles in mint condition.

B) Anyone have any experience going from the Fab to the Octy ? What kind of questions should I be asking the dealer ?

c) Whats the best price I could realistically hope for looking at an Octavia Elegance Estate with Metallic, Xenons and Multifunction steering wheel ?

Advice appreciated !

I just chose a 1.4 ltr estate which had the year 05 model in it - so yep thats the discrepancy.

Also you now have these values but look at the market place Autotrader etc and remember on those sites/papers they are asking prices and noone pays that do they so knock

Sounds like it's a size thing as there is a massive difference between a Fabia and a new Octavia.

That's why I'm thinking of buying an Octavia (MrsF will have the Fabia still) as it's a bit tricky fitting everything in when you go away.

At the min I can just about squeeze 1 weeks worth of camping gear (tent/gazeebo/chairs/airbeds clothing food bbq beers cool box) into the Fiat coupe - thats the boot rammed and the back seats full too.

If there are little ones on the way its clearly not big enough.

Lots of stuff will go into a Fabia;

All this, three people and two crates of stella to be precise despite a 10" sub and amp in the boot.

You need to think in 3d ;)

As for using a Furby with kids, you can get a pushchair (And sub!) in the boot but it's not easy. Plus the fact the seat soon become very dirty :mad:
