Piccie of the 4th gauge

Featured Replies

Damn the poor light outside. Couldn't get a very good piccie. Anyway, this is my 4th and (hopefully ;)) final gauge to let me keep an eye on non standard readings. This one is for oil pressure, but until I can get 1/8" "non BSP" fittings, it's sender wire is still unattached at present. I do like the look of it, and I'm glad I didn't just shove it next to the other 3 gauges (also featured)

The oil pressure gauge (where's the wiring? :D)

The other ones (yes the boost one has is not yet lined up right in it's pod :P)

DIY route taken to the engine bay. ;)

I like the function-over-form look!! Bolt it on, job done!! :D :D

Form was very important. :D As long as they sit nicely enough and are flexible to point in exactly the position I want them to - job's a good'un. :D (I can't imagine anything worse than getting pillar pods and them not quite facing the right way - That would annoy me for the rest of their use - I can adjust these nice and easily)

I will tidy up the wiring for the 3 gauge setup sometime, but there's more important things to get done first. :D

I agree! Thats the kind of thing that would drive me insane!!!

Engine stuff. :D Getting the sender sorted. I also need to change the trim that the radio, heater controls sits in, for it's black counterpart. The last bit of trim to change to Elegance spec, after the headlight trim was swapped this morning. :)

You could have found a few more elegant screws to bolt it in with!

screws are not meant to be elegant, but the new one does seem to have an excessive amount of washer bit on it. Might look for some smaller ones some time.

Oh Dear!

Are you training to be an aircraft pilot?
