Horny

Featured Replies

Can anyone tell me what type of horn was fitted to my 2006 Fabia Elegance Estate, Single or twin? It sounded So much better than the one on my Roomster.

eg.

Fabia= Baaarp!

Roomster= Beep!!!

I dont really want to fit aftermarket ones unless I really have to.

Hmmm.

Ok then, is the standard horn on your chipped, lowered 200bhp Fabia VRS a good meaty sounding BAAArp or is it a puny beep?

Is it a single or twin horn?

If you have repaced it, what did you replace it with?

Anyone?

Please?

Hmmm ;)

Actually the horn on my VRS is crap. It has the effect of making people laugh rather than make them look, but as we found out at the last meet, mine seems to be faulty as a standard new VRS horn is actually quite meaty. IIRC it's just a single horn

Pretty sure it's a "two-tone" horn, but could be wrong.....

Chris

yeh mine is quite meaty as you say(not like my Mam's Panda which is a noddy beep)...i find it quite hard not to sound angry though when I just want a friendly beep to the car in front to alert them to the traffic lights changed....does anybody else find it hard to just blip the horn?

The horn on my car is very effective :)
