Fabia leak - not the usual?

Featured Replies

Driver side footwell full of water after rain.

Had a good search and came across all door panel and heater problems.

All doors just re-sealed by dealer, roof bars fitted and had leaked in back but re-done and rear leak seems fixed.

Passenger side OK so assume not the usual air inlet problem. No sun roof.

Water runs out of the door stay when door opened, don't know it that is a clue.

It's a 2003 diesel estate, basic model with electric windows.

Thanks in anticipation

Nick

door carrier still leaking i would imagine , its well documented on here that some dealers can not fix the leak even on a third attempt

Thanks but I can't see water coming down the door inside where I'd expect it if the panel was still leaking plus I saw the job being done and I'd be very surprised if it leaked immediately.

Do you know if it's ever had the windscreen replaced? Could be that the sealant's given up after our recent summery weather...
