Doesnt insurance go down???

Long story short - I paid

The risk of the car will continually be assessed so it's possible (if, for example, lots of them are being crashed) that the premium goes up, despite your discount. Worth ringing them up and querying it as they may just not have included your 1 years NCB though....

Ring other insurance companies.

Ring other insurance companies.

Or ring your existing insurance company and take out a new policy, then cancel the old one...will probably be cheaper.

You need to try another company. Another possible cause of the rise, is that the grouping system has been changed in the last 12 months, and now has a much larger range.

From my experience Insurance companys in general seem to give you a cheap quote to attract you then put it up at renewal.Direct line seem to be the exception.
