hey dont tend to write on here much but i need some advise!!!!

i am based in doncaster and have a black fabia VRS march 05 and some idiot (being polite!!) pulled out in front of me and as a result i hit his back end. this has resulted in a repairable amount of damage to my bumper, a bit to the bonnet and front wing. it also has broken the windscreen wash bottle and severly scratch and pushed back the light ( i will post pics when it gets light!!)

just wandering if the body parts are expensive and how much damage would have likely to have been caused, i hit his rear offside wheel at about 20ish MPH.

also, he is basically being a bell end because he said that his traffic light was on green and mine was on red. i saw a couple of seconds after i hit him that it wasn't, and mine was 100% on green, but being late on at night there was only one possible witness and they drove off!!! arghhhh!!!! so its my word against his.

what lights you got.

Sounds like he is trying to get it down to a 50-50 accident, I'm not sure how this actually benefits him over a 100% fault, ie it's still a claim?

As you have address pay him a visit maybe?

there were no red ight camaras at this set of lights and i managed to pull a policeman over after and he said there were no CCTV camaras, just been told by a friend mechanic that it will cost me at least

oh yeah and i'm trying to get him to take the blame, but as oliverreed said there's no benefit on his behalf 4 a 50/50 claim but he's having none of it.
