Hi, Well it's 10 days to go, then I change my current Octy1 4x4 for a brand spanking Octy 2 L&K, I'm getting that one as I think the comfort and extras on the car will be great. I'm going for Black pearl with Alacantra seats.

I got it for a silly cheap price:D , (otherwise I would not have been able to get such a car).

It will also be the 2.0PD with DSG.

Can't wait and will post some pics when I get the car home.

i currently have circa 17k to spend was looking at an elegance but could i get an l&k dsg?

It's worth about 21k brand new, but you can get it cheaper, I got mine for 15k.

I was orriginally thinking I would have to go for that one, but I was supprised when I got my offer.

I can't wait either dstev, I have to get the overnight ferry to Hull, and I doubt I will sleep, and not because I'm on the ferry! Where u getting it? I was told my one is the only one in the UK at the moment (Hatch) so I am lucky!

It was ordered nearly 11 weeks ago and will be delivered to my boss's office on Monday 30th, it's a lease car so no idea where it is from.

It has the sunset privacy glass as well and that's what took the time apparantly. It also has the light leather interior, I think it will contrast nicely with the black paint, whether it works out or not is another matter :P

sunset privacy glass? not heard of that, Did not know it was an option.11 Weeks wow that is a long time! I would not have lasted any where near that time.

Sunset privacy glass is only avaialable on the estate- in the UK at least.

It tints the rear passenger and rear load area windows slightly to deter prying eyes a little.

Just a cpl of questions if anyone can help? Does a new diesel engine need to be run in? and if so how long ect.

Aslo with the DSG gearbox, does it have the "Launch control facility"?

Finally how do you operate the Hill hold facility?
