Vrs Front Lambda Probe Fitting

Recommended Posts

Does anyone know where I can get a reasonably priced front of cat lambda probe for my VRS?

Has anyone fitted one? Is it an easy DIY job?

Does anyone have VAG COM in the Chester area - my electronic fault light is elluminted therefore the fault code needs clearing.

Any help would be very much appreciated.

Thanks

Paul

There are plenty of places to get them such as a motor factors or German Swedish and French (Who are forum Sponsors and will give you a discount if you are a Freedom Member)

Alternatively a Skoda dealer will source you one.

There are special sockets with a slot cut in them for fitting them.

Smithy > It is a DIY job ...

Get the Bosh lambda ... its half the price. Part #'s here http://www.briskoda.net/forums/octavia/octavia-useful-part-numbers-octavia-diy-servicing-mods/55981/

Engine management light will clear itself after som time. Mine did it the day after I fittet the lambda, but the fault codes are still saved in the ECU though.
