Cambelt kit on back order....

Featured Replies

Having my 60k service done at the moment.

It would appear that the cambelt kit isn't available from skoda (atleast from the 2 dealers in leicestershire) might be 2 weeks! :thumbdwn:

After much running around, being supplied the wrong kit initially etc my mechanic had to go to VW after getting the part codes from skoda..........muppets

Anyone else had this problem? Anyone else about due a cambelt?

Not had that problem (no belt!) but getting on to my nearest VW dealer would have been the first thing I'd have done if I was on the parts desk....

Yep - always worth consulting your other nearest VAG dealers, as I've found hunting for parts, more often than not, one of them will either have bits in stock or be able to get them quick. My local seat garage has come to my rescue on a couple of occasions.

If they cant supply a kit i'd be very suprised if they cant get the bits seperately.
