Have just ordered a new Skoda vrs Race Blue, thinking about having it remapped by Turbochips who claim they can add 66Bhp to the 2.0L FSi engine. Would appreciate any comments.

Lots of info on here - and probably many different answers to any question you may have.

Spend a few hours using the search function, and reading about other's experiences.

Also worth trying to get along to a meet and talk to others about their cars and what they have done.

Be wary about warranty issues with a remap - again loads of posts on this.

Hiya.

You've already been warned about possible warranty issues. ISTR that some (but not who) remappers warrant the engine and box of a car they've remapped to the same standard as the original VAG warranty.

Don't know much about the FSi (well not yet), but that seems like a lot of power to add to a 2.0 turbo with just a remap.
