my '56' fabia is due it's first service in September.i'm bought it using skoda finance so does it mean i have to get it serviced at a skoda dealer,or can i used an independent garage ?

You'll have to read the small print of the finance agreement, but I'm pretty sure that you can get it serviced at any VAT registered garage (under the block exemption ruling)
