Recently noticed that when i first open the drivers door after a night of rain a load of water runs from out of the bottom of the door. Also there seems to be a small puddle lying on the sill and the top of the bottom door seal is wet. Has anyone else had this problem, could it be a seal fault/drainage hole blocked, should it go back to the dealers?

Sounds normal to me.

When the door is closed and the water runs out of the drain holes it will run onto the sill. However if it is running into the car then there is an issue.

Didn't expect to see a puddle holding on the vrs sill plates though, thought it run away as you say. What worries me is that the top of the seal is wet and hope nothing is getting behind. The passenger door seems fine.

If there is a lot of water then it can settle in there a little.

Yep, mine used to do that, also after you wash it.
