My 3rd hand Fabia

Featured Replies

I am a prowd owner of a W reg silver Skoda Fabia 1.4 16v comfort (100bhp) am 17 and this is my first car, got my drivin test on friday :D and its on my drive now, mam insured to drive any vehicle so shes going to keep my baby running, anyways to the point, got a engine oil pressure light on, but i know what needs to be done, new sensor (hopefully), i got months engine warrenty through my garage i got it from. I have topped the oil it was rather thirsty it took sum filling to get it between min and max on the dip stick, (checked oil wen the engine was cold, before the top up in oil) and still the engine oil pressure light on, anyways she runs well and got the leaky door at rear n/s, jus the pannel is damp not the floor, anyways i am new to this site and this site is soo much help to me, budgets low at the mo since i splashed out 2700 on my car but my wheels trims are cheapy plastic ones (looks to me like the prev ones were took/stolen) but any suggestions of alloys?

Thanks

John,

prowd owner of a fabia:thumbup:

Hi John.:wavey:

Good luck with your driving test next friday, lets hope you pass and can get out enjoying the new car..:D

If you've got a months warranty on the car, why not send it back to the garage to get the oil pressure sorted out??

Oh and if you decide to fix the leaky door carrier yourself and want some of the proper VW sealant cord, let me know as I've got a couple of lengths going cheap;)

Yea im going to ring garage first thing tomorrow, ill explain about changin the sensor, lets hope this will be the cause, also going to get a cd player in car, perhaps a blue tooth cd player, and a cradle to sit my fone on, i dont know if this is standard but i have a empty flask in the boot (passenger side) its black and tied right in the corner lol, sorry about the randomness but im fidnin cool stuff on this car lol,

Good luck with your driving test mate.

it might need a VAG COM scan clear to clear the dash light.

let the garage sort it out, make use of the warranty.

just found you had 2 threads on this lol. as to the door panel you can get that done on waranty. im pretty sure that its standard practice that they will redo all 4 doors

yea i no, lol i dont no how i got 2 threads, lol dowt my garage will sort it, its been like that for ages i bet, they got nothin to do with it,

its worth saying though as they sold it to you and its leaking so theres got to be somthing in your agreement about not fit for purpose or something. if you choose to do it yourself stu's got a good guide up
