Just acquired a new Octavia Elegance. Had to ask dealer to adjust one of the windscreen washers. It was done in the workshop, out of sight. The jets on my car are fan type; new to me. I am used to the spherical jets adjusted by using a needle and moving them around. What I want to know is, how do you adjust these fan type jets? The service manager was too busy to tell me how his tech had done the job. Any info welcomed.

they move up and down in their sockets, i found this out accidently the other day whilst fiddling with them as over time when washing the car they had began to squirt everywhere apart from the windows so i must have knocked them whilst washing the car. Fairly simple job and certainly one that you wont need the garage to do. You wont need a pin just push them up or down to where you want them to be.
