I've just fitted a forge FMIC (which is an excellent kit by the way, chers for the recommendations), but has anyone else experienced this:

... I get a sqealing noise coming from the top of the o/s/f area around the bonnet when the turbo comes on boost. From cold its louder then when the engine warms up. But i dont think its a air leak, because i'm not loosing power, and theres no air leak around the connections when i out my hand around it when some one else revs it, plus its not there when you rev it up at a stand still????

Any ideas????

does sound like an air leak even though you say you can't find one , the boost pressure wont be as high with just revving it up , under load there is more air drawn into the engine , plus more engine movement maybe straining a hose connection

re-check all your hose clip connections
