i didnt get gap insurance some people i have spoken to praise but others just think its a waste of money as for me am not to bothered about it really am fully comp on insurance so i think thats enough cover IMO

Just look at the fella who's mate crashed his Fabia into a tractor with 49 miles on the clock.

If you do the same, the GAP insurance will cover you.

Being a driving school I wasn't allowed GAP insurance... it's in the small print, no driving schools :( ==== however getting 11.9% of the list price of the car, If my car dies in an accident, and I get 'market value' for it, I should be ok for a similar replacement.. :)

Got the car a couple of problems with the car, a cracked number plate and both rear tyres are low on tread ( near side is just above legal) and it passed it MOT?. And the seats were dirty so going back next week to be cleaned:thumbup:

Now for the drive WOWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWW, 1st to 2nd is a bit short but once in 2nd and above it goes like a rocket.

My brother "jamestay1" will add pics.

You might want to complain about the front number plate too, there's a big splodge on it!:)

Been down to the dealer, got the plate fixed but the service manager came to look at the tyres along with the main man and said they were ok. Brother said I should demand new tyres.:rolleyes:

i was a YTS mechanic,i had to goto college once a week for 2 years.the first thing they told us were that the minimum tread for a tyre is 1.6mm.this has been stored in my head for 15 years.

ok it would pass the mot and may last another 6-12 months depending on miliage but a car costing
