Before I start replacing pipes etc I though it best to try deleting this code and seeing if it re-appears.

Can someone post the steps of how to clear this code with VAG-COM.

Go to the section the code comes from (engine, airbag,etc) go to check fault codes in that module and when the code comes up, click on clear code. It does not work when checking from the main screen.

Unless I missed something when I did the scan it didn't seem obvious what section / module the error code was in.

Click on select on the first screen

Click on 01 Engine

Go to Fault codes

Click clear

Ah , the penny has dropped - when you Auto Scan the Address code corresponds to the Control Module number (guess who feels a right t!t) - :P
