They are something to do with the cambelt job, you have to emove the mounting to do the cambelt and the bolts should be renewed.

yeah they are the important ones, as are the two 18mm bolts that go into the two parts of the mounting.

curbridge are the ones ill be using, since jewson (oxford) wanted 300 quid for the service.

I dont think ill be attempting a cambelt change meself, even if i had the tools. I dont think the next owner would be too happy with no service stamps and the work being carried out by an untrained mechanic. Not that skoda dealers fill me with that much confidence anyway.
