Ibiza TDI sport vs VRs

Featured Replies

Stick with the Fabia, better looking car than the Seat. Not so keen on Seat's styling at the moment they look horrible.

its like theyve tried to be young hip and cool but theyve tried too hard with the ibiza

I preferred the Ibiza FR.

Just checked the seat uk website and they list all the Ibizas made. The 110bhp Ibiza Sport...

You're right, Ross it was a Mk3. For some reason from his post, I assumed he was buying a Mk3 :o

Is it the weekend yet?

Well...lower insurance group, tighter suspension, MP3 head unit...it has got some "advantages" (if you see them as advantages, which I would).

Though in the end I opted for neither...

I looked at both and opted for the Fabia as it was something a bit different the interior felt a lot better put together... plus the nicer seats.

I looked at both too(FR & vRS) and although the Fabia felt appreciably slower, I preferred the Fabia's looks, rarity, seats & 5 doors (granted FR can be got in 5 doors)

Overall package - Fabia vRS every time, performance & handling - Ibiza FR.

I bought the Fabia but that compliant ride is a trade-off for handling, and the 2 extra very heavy doors reduce straight line poke slightly.

That said, I'm probably not a decent enough driver to truly push either car, if any modern car.
