hi can anyone help i have a octavia sdi hatch 2001 and am trying to fit an after market central locking kit. it has manual central locking nut i am fitting a remote unit.

i need to know what type of system it has on weather it is positive or negitive.

i have the following wires and need to now which one opens and which one closes.

white and yellow

yellow and black

yellow and brown

brown

black and yellow

grey and black

grey and yellow

grey and red

green and red

orange

would appreciate any help possible thanks martin.

Doubtless someone will come along and prove me wrong, but I don't think anyone has made a positive earth car in around 40 years.
