Which PC Pads?

Featured Replies

I'm looking at buying a PC over the next month from Autopia.com and I'm just wondering which extra pads (if any) I should buy. Think I'll be getting the Sonus SFX Foam Pad Polishing Kit but will that be everything I need for my first attempt??

Should I buy extra pads and what recommendations would you make about polishes? I thought I'd get some Megs #83 and Megs #80 but some people on Detailing world have said that other makes are better as VW paint is particularly hard.

I've not got a clue which wax I should use or if I can use some of the AG Super Resin Polish I've got sat at home. I've read so much on detailing world I think I've started to confuse myself!!

Ive been using the Sonus SFX pads and Meguiars ones with no problems.

Cheers

Getting tempted are you Rob? :D

I'd recommend going with the Sonus kit, especially as it can be included with the order - with the current exchange rate and all. I'd also go in the Mezerna direction, was recommended as being a particularly good match for the hard VAG paint.

And again, I can only agree - look in Polished Bliss's direction :)
