Hi all,

I've seen an 05 ( 2.5 years old ) Plate vRS which has done 51,000 miles but has apparently only had 3 Services in it's life.

I thought it was either once a year or every 10k (whichever came first ).

Is that right? Would it be best stay away from such a car??

I'd dig a bit more into it if I were you, My 54 plate Fabia vRS is on 52,500 and it's had 5 services as I do more than the yearly or 10k thing.

They may have had it serviced and not had the book stamped, Mine was serviced at 40k and they forgot to stamp the book so now it's **** about face in the stamps.

Ask the dealer to check on the computer or find out which dealer did the service and call them, they should keep a record of any work on the car.
