Tpms

Featured Replies

Hi lads, have a new Oct 2 with TPMS, i would like to replace my existing alloys with some replacement type...... The problem i have how do i know from looking what type of TPMS i have i.e the one that monitors via the ABS ECU using the ABS sensors, or using the tyre valves fitted with transmitters. I know i could remove the tyre and take a look but if theres a way just by visually looking from the outside of the car would be great.

The Octavia II uses the ABS sensors/rolling circumference to work out tyre pressure status, there are no pressure transducers in the tyres/wheels to worry about, jsut reset the system when the new wheels are fitted.
