Hello to everyone at Briskoda. Been looking at the site for a few days now and its certainly full of info.

ATM i am currently running a Nissan Almera 1.4Si ( Dont laugh! ) but due to some investments i am going to treat myself to a Fabia VRS some time in November.

I was the original boy racer with my car history being a 1.3SR Nova, 1.6GTE Nova, Tuned 1.4SR Nova then a mk3 Fiesta 1.6 XR2i which was mint. Becoming a dad, i bought the almera which i must say has turned out to be a reliable car.

Anyway come November i hope to be driving a Fabia VRS. Would love to find a SE Edition as i think they are lovely but i doubt it.

Any info on what i should be looking for when purchasing would be great.

Keep up the great work and i hope to be a FULLY active member soon.

Welcome

Time is on your side, if you keep looking and are prepared to wait I'm sure something will turn up. Some have come to the market already.

I am prepared to wait but i think i will get a standard one first then mod it a bit. Not much though, lowering springs, flaps etc. I like my cars to look good rather than go fast although 180BHP in a Fabia would be FUN!!!! I have already spotted 3 SE's within five miles of where i stay.

Big thumbs up to your website too. Both your site and Briskoda are saved as fav's. :)

Hope you find them useful.

There is a register of vRS SE owners in the Fabia section.

Hello & welcome

Hello again. Well my investment should be through anytime soon. Been to see a few VRS described as mint in garages only to be met with what i would descibe a " shed " ( I am very picky tho. ) On the subject of the SE's. There seems to be more of them available from pricate sales with very low mileage. Apart from the " stutter " is there anything else going wrong with these cars. I could understand if they were up for sale at a premium but infact there a lot cheaper than buying from the dealer. Any reasons why.

My mate is trying to get me to buy a impreza wrx and my partner a honda civic type r but i have my heart set on a fabia VRS for its all round cabalities.

My partner drives a MK4 VW Golf and was having trouble so i purchased a 3rd party cable of eBay and downloaded the shareware version of VAG-COM. It brought up one fault with the lambda sensor. Changed it and it drives superb now. So eventually when i get a FAB i shall be purchasing the full version of VAG-COM.

Welcome :)
