Hi, as my indicator lights no longer flash when i operate the central locking, i decided to have the beep from the alarm horn come on, i set this up with vag-com, but no beeps, vag-com tells me there is no communication with the alarm horn and intermittent fault with ind. lights, .

Does this mean i have a problem with the dreaded convenience unit :mecry:

Mind posting a complete diagnostic protocol (Auto-Scan), so we can see exactly what's going on and which stuff is actually in your car?

These are the faults found on scan of Central Convenience.

My car is the Elegance model, has just about everything in the line of extras,

3 Faults Found:

01131 - Control Circuit for Turn Signals

25-10 - Unknown Switch Condition - Intermittent

01299 - Diagnostic Interface for Data Bus (J533)

49-10 - No Communications - Intermittent

01134 - Alarm Horn (H12)

49-00 - No Communications.

See, the reason why I wrote "complete" was also to see your control module part number. This would make us able to tell you which measuring blocks to look for since it's unknown yet which control module (generation) your car has.

Additionally there seem to be some more issues with your car than just the horn - another reason why I suggest you post a complete Auto-Scan.
