my air con dosnt seem to be working. the system is charged but there are no leaks. the AC button in the dash lights up but no cold air. ?????????????

Could be the compressor clutch has come off - quite a common problem. It happened to me on a 2001 elegance TDI.

Try a search on the forum.

sounds like the clutch has fallen off the compressor, i had the same symptoms on my car, i replaced it with a complete compressor from a scrap golf.
