I've searched the forum to see if anyone can help me! I bought a 2nd hand fabia leather gearstick (including the shaft inside the leather exterior).

All I want to do is take off the old plasticy cover and replace it with the leather one! the plastic one is just a tab to the underside and it can pull off, however the leather one seems concealed. Does any one have any advice on how I remove this cover? I can provide photos if necessary! Thanks
