when you turn your indicators on....you can hear the ticking from the dash...all ok...but today...i turned mine on...and when the indicator turned off it started ticking madly...then it stops...but it happened all the way home and got on my nervous...the indicator itself is going off...just not the ticking sound from the dash...

Hazzard switch

Do a search as it is a common problem , cheap and easy repair

Sarah

I had the exact same prob and like sarah i thought it was hazzard switch /relay, but its actually 100% ur indicator stalk , its a cheap fix, in Dublin, a new stalk was 35 euros (£22.OO) and a couple of pints for my mechanic friend.... job done

I'd trust Sarah's diagnosis. She's one of those rare superior species of famale who actually knows about cars.

Ooo thank you Ken

It is down to the relay in the Hazzard switch

When I did warranty work at the dealers we had 10 hazzards in at all time as it was very very common problem on them

Oh thank you

Behind the hazzard warning switch

It is cured by buying the switch

5 min job to do , well not even that and cheap

But you do need to go to a dealer for one

If you sweet talk alot and ask nicely I have known a few to do them FOC
