Xbox 360 memory transfer

Featured Replies

Anyone know if its posible to transfer data from an Xbox 360 memory card on to the 120GB hard drive?

Ive tried to copy/move game data and all I get is "you can not transfer between profiles" or something:confused:

I need help:mad: I dont want to start all my games from the begining again.

IIRC , you need to get your profile onto the HD before attempting to copy the game saves across.

If you have purchased the 120GB drive to add to an existing xbox then it comes with software that does all the transfer work for you.

Thanks for the reply. I bought an Elite with the 120GB H/D. The memory card is from my old core system,

Will try again.

Have you retrieved your XBOX live profile onto the elite HD yet,

No, I was going to have a go at setting that up tonight or Sat.

Opps, misread that last post. I havnt got an Xbox live profile yet, im new to that bit.

What about plugging the HD onto your core system and trying to do the copy on the 360 that hosts your profile.

Core has gone, sold on here couple of days ago. The member who bought it is waiting for his memory card:rofl:

No hurry (or need) actually Chris, i've a 120gb HDD on it's way.

In the post over the weekend mate, ive given up trying:mad: Im already back to where I was on Blazing Angles 2:D

:finger: @120GB H/D, show off:rofl:

I was playing TDU and delivered the Enzo without pranging it, won £120,000 and thought what a waste of time!

When I first plugged the XBox in through the scart I was wondering what all the fuss was about, the graphics weren't anything to shout about. Went out at 8pm on the hunt for a component cable, found one in Blockbuster and it made the picture four times better!

Anyway if Chris is selling anything else he's a top bloke to buy from! We should have some sort of trader rating system on here for members.

thats because over scart it'll be a composite signal and SD rather than a proper component signal and HD so higher resolution.
