I read somewhere that there is a Skoda VIN number decoder, I have Googled it, but had no luck, can anyone point me in the right direction!

Hmmm - when I put my VIN into both the decoders on here it recons my 55 reg car (Registered in late 2005 according to the documents) is a 2006 model... Strange

May well be a MY06 (model year 2006) though, based on the fact that it was registered in late '05? Often the factory switches to a new MY around 3/4 through the year, although I think that does vary based on the actual model and perhaps how demand is.

Thanks all - there is another at http://www.octinfo.com/index.php?p=vin_en but it's not as complete as the old OilShop one which output all the option codes, engine number, etc etc. Any others available?
