Thanks in adv .

Can I suggest it would look something like this?

Sorry for the size of picture but I lifted a white Octavis picture of the interweb and did a little Photshop magic.

This is something i've looked into.

the best way to get the effect is get the VRS side strips and the front and back bumper. as the VRS strips are smooth and primed to get painted.

the current plastic won't give a great finish.

Saying that, your might be ok as it is solid white.

Thanks guys .

muppi@ - That looks fantastic(atleast in the pic) . i think i should go forward with it .

vimto2000@ - The Vrs strips and the bumpers are quite expensive , i am looking for a cheaper option and as you rightly pointed out, the white is a solid color ,it may look good .

Anybody done this already ? if yes please post a pic ?

thanks .

Yeah, the quote I got was not worth it! I rather be a bit more careful when waxing!

The body colored side strips sure look good but i am not so sure whether the front and rear bumpers strips would look as good ? Somebody please post a pic of a front and rear body colored bumpers strips ?

Thanks .

I don't know if you remember the craze of painting the black/grey body kits on MK2 Fiesta XR2's in he late 80's/early 90's but they managed to get a smooth finish on them without too much trouble.

I'd go for it as white looks so much better without the black bits.

But how long did it last, I also remember seeing badly chipped and paint peeling on them too :)
