Hello everyone,

Bought my 0252 1.9tdi Elegance two months ago from a Skoda dealer about 1 hours drive from my house.

Having a couple of niggles with the car so have been back and forth there a few times. Anyway, my question is: do I have to go to this same dealer everytime I want my car looked at/repaired under warranty? There's a dealer about 10 miles from my house. Does the warranty enable me to go there instead????

Am thinking I need a fresh pair of eyes to look at the car.

Warranty is by Skoda or by dealer? Cos I'd expect it to be out of Skoda's warranty by now...

Ah...when I bought it the garage gave me a one year warranty so I guess it must be dealer only. I do have Skoda Used Car Warranty letter from Skoda themselves though with the Terms and Conditions etc.

You can take it to ANY skoda garage.I brought mine in wales but my local skoda dealer does the warranty work.

I agree, bought mine at Bridgenorth, warrenty work done in Coventry

if its from a main dealer it should have come with a Skoda warranty, so there fore you should be able to go to any main dealer and get the work done. go and visit them and ask, they will be ablew to tell you for sure
