Stretched plastic?

Featured Replies

Hi,

Removed my door cars this weekend, and because i'm useless at this kind of thing I stretched the plastic on the door handle.

Anyway to get this back to normal colour?!

...and yes I need to clean the white material. Getting some spray later!

Thanks.

I dont think you can, the plastic has been stressed and has discoloured

As above - plastic stressed etc

If you're that bothered then maybe cometic treatment i.e.

Back to Black bumper paint or good old black liquid shoe polish

Hmm, might see if I can get a new one at the dealers then!

Shoe polish might be worth a go tho, bumper care didn't do anything.

Theres a few breakers on ebay so might be best rather than paying dealer prices.

On an older car the leather gearlever shroud was worn and faded so I used the liquid Kiwi polish on it every few months
