Octavia VRS

Featured Replies

Hi Guys

I currently own a octavia elegence 2.0 auto 2002 and after upgrading to a VRS. Having never drove a VRS ive no idea what there like. Can i have your personal experiences with this model ? Im in two minds wether to get this or the cupra R

Personally i'd go for the R. More power, better brakes and six gears.

Shame the Cupras an ugly blitter imo.

I think the R is a good looking motor, the bumper and bodykit do them justice and a set of one of the nicest alloys on a production car i've seen.

Seriously, even with a back end like that!:thumbdwn:

Each to their own Ross:D

Ok, i suppose i maybe a little biased

Well, for one, the Octy will be cheaper. All depends on your budget.

Exactly.

If you can afford a nice Cupra R then I wouldn't be considering the vRS. On the other hand if you can afford a leggy, older Cupra R or a top of the pile vRS it would be a harder decision.

Seems for a decent Cupra R youre looking around 8-9k.
