A little new to this game - any help would be much appreciated.

Is this possible? - 18s on standard vRS? Looking to upgrade to a new set of alloys but dont want to incurr the charge of new springs. Are the new springs necessary?

Fabia or Octavia?

On the Octavia 18's are no probs at all, just dont go any wider than a 235 and make sure the offset of the rim is suitable.

ET 35

That offset ET 35 I meant to say is for the MK1 Octavia.

You can certainly change wheels without changing the springs, but I'm not sure how big you can go on the Fabia. Several people run the Octavia Vrs spider alloys which are 17 inch without probs or modifications.

nicely done m8 was just bout to ask the same question, im looking at getting the golf R32 alloys which are 18s, but need to check fittment they are fantastic value, u can get full set for £465 wit tyres not bad i think

Great minds think alike fella - im looking at the mk4 R32s too! Where did you get that price from? Is that with decent tyres?
