Number Plate Bolts

Featured Replies

Cheers for the head up, will have to get round to getting some at some stage ;)

Take a screw out of your front and rear number plates to check compatabilty on these. When i changed to my private plate I was shocked to find one set being self tapers and the other being a metric screw thread M4 or something. I've had the car from new and couldn't belive Skoda use a different screw thread front and rear!!

Personally I prefer no more nails on a roll, they are not coming off with that.

It makes me cry when I see an expenive car with the numberplate held in by crappy self tapping screws.

I am getting my number plate stuck down with no more nails on the roll aswell lol Call me paranoid, I don't care lol

ive got a big massive box of tamper proof bolts sat at work, we give them out for free to anyone who wants them

so if you pop down to your local plod shop they may have some to give out:)

left over stickerflex, or tiger seal will do the job :)

my boot lid spoiler was stuck on with that and theres no way thats ever coming off!
