Painting my standard callipers...

Featured Replies

I am rubish mechanically and want to paint my callipers as one is flaking. Is it easy enough to take them off??? Or will i destroy the unit?!?!? Do i need to take them off to paint them?

Cheers

Stu

If you are rubbish mechanically then dont take them apart, simple as that.

Paint it on car with a small brush and a tin on hammerite smooth green.

Out of interest how long would hammerite be likely to last/withstand any heat?

If the car is under warranty, take it back and get the dealer to replace the part, i did and they didn't argue at all, in fact very helpful
