M-reg Audi A4 2.6 V6 petrol...

Featured Replies

Had a drive in one of these today... nice alloys and leather too....

one of my pupils (forign liscence holder doing his English test) has one, and offered me a go

it reminds me of my old lancia!

feels SSSOOOO heavy compaired to my GPS, heavy steering/brakes (veeery long pedal travel) and clutch...

but my the engine is lively! for a car over ten years old, it was quite nice... to think something like this could be bought for about £1,000 I liked it......

cars like this are always on my mind if I have a job, where I'd have to buy a cheap car myself........

some nice cars for little money out there!

My Dad had one of these in an estate.

I loved it until the auto box until it disintegrated.

auorans one is very nice indeed, purrs like a kitten :)

I would be interested to drive one of these. I drove a convertable 80 final edition 2.6 V6 which I assume is the same engine. It wasn't remotely entertaining to drive but then I know the convertables are a lot heavier...

Yup, I love mine. First V6 I've owned, and for a 12 year old car it's going well.

Brakes on mine are good, without much travel, so I'd suggest your student get's it checked over.

mmm... he seemed to be running on a budget... works in a restraunt.... mixmatch of tyres ect, bet its not seen a service for a while! but all legal, and the engine was a peach :) don't think I'd like to pay the fuel buills though!

TBH the fuel probably isn't as bad as you'd think. I think a real 30mpg is achievable...

Would seem about right Tom; auroan's spritmonitor seems close :)

(must start feeding some data into mine!)
