The exhaust (Supersprint) on the Octy started to rattle so I took it to a well known national chain of exhaust centres. They showed a crack on one of the mounting brackets that was resonating at certain revs.

But they couldn't fix it - stainless steel, so they couldn't weld it.:mad:

Their suggestion - get a complete new exhaust under warranty :eek::eek::eek:

So I found a company in Falkirk called "Stainless Creations" who manufacture stainless steel exhausts.

They welded the crack and realigned the exhaust for a massive ten quid!!:thumbup:

Can't weld stainless steel :( Pansy's ..

it takes special wire and gas and a better welder i think.

What impressed me most was that they used a spirit level to ensure that the tailpipe was level :eek::thumbup:
