L&K Badges = indicators

Featured Replies

Just a thought.....

I'm sure more drivers pull out in front of me when I'm going round a roundabout with my current car than any other.

Only occured to me today that the L&K badges on the front wing are where indicator repeaters are situated on most other cars (except VW, Skoda, Merc etc who have them in the mirror). I wonder if other drivers are looking there, see what they think is a repeater not flashing and pull out?

I know they are wrong even if I wasn't indicating, and of course the mirror repeater is flashing away, but just a thought. Anyone else noticed this?

Nope. Can't say I have.

"He's got a new car" syndrome perhaps??

The mirror repeater is quite bright and you would need to be blind not to see it.

True, probably just declining driving standards. There does seem to be an increase of "I'm pulling out in front of you, you deal with it, not my problem". And I thought it was just Christmas when it happened.....

Nope, people don't seem to get the concept of "give way" and just pull out regardless. It doesn't help when you drive a new car either.
