Saved by friendly neighbourhood mechanic

Featured Replies

Having only just had the car fully serviced, then having to have the front disks and pads replaced the week after, was not impressed when the flippin car started running rough and flashing an engine light at me after work then limping home to find smoke pouring out of the bonnet...

Having used SJB in Basingstoke for both the servicing and upgrading the brakes rather than just replacing them:rolleyes: i called Jim(SJB) and asked him (actually begged as had meeting in london the next day) for help. Not going to say to what extent he went to to help but it was beyond what i could have realistically expected. One faulty coilpack diagnosed and replaced and meeting held, not that it was worth it in the end.

Yet another reason to have a good local mechanic on side. If you end up reading this thanks again.
