I have orderd a skoda octavia VRS and my company said 12 week lead time........ has any one orderd one before and how long did it take through factory order??????????

12 weeks seems about right for a factory order.

10 for me. So 12 isn't that far away. Plus you'll have holidays at this time of year to slow things down a little.

Mine has took 12 weeks and was a factory order if that helps. Where have you ordered it from?

Mine took 11 weeks but it was pretty well loaded.

Awesome and quick?!

They are certainly nippy! Slower off the line to the petrol (that I ended up buying after test driving both) but Id say more punchy in the mid range - useful for overtaking in whatever gear you happen to be in at the time.

Didn't you get the chance to test drive one?

But YES, they are quick (as you want it to be); huge wave of torque makes overtaking in 3rd/4th gear very satisfying. Fairly useful on the twisty stuff as well.

I'm sure you'll enjoy it.
